My Resume

Summary:

I have always loved writing since elementary school. I have had a lot of experience with essay writing by taking honors and AP classes in high school and was successful in those. It was not untill my years the local community college through a journalism class where I was exposed to news style writing and fell in love with it.

In this same class I have learned so many skills that have allowed me to blend news reporting and media production.

When I got my job with the school newspaper, I found myself being pushed out of my comfort zone because I was having to talk to people I would not typically approach. However after interviewing them I often found they were very interesting and even had some things in common with me.

For my future, I want to share stories that matter, of different cultures and people, that others can surprisngly find relateable. I think news reporting is already on the rise of being linked with social media and technology. With modern technology and young minds, I think the possibilites are endless.
